Joseph (Joe) Abner

Joseph Abner, age 59 of Pineville, KY passed away Monday April 9, 2018 at his home. He was born July 14, 1958 to the late Thea and Wanda Abner. He had been a carpenter and worked in construction.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Gerald Wayne Abner.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Abner; daughters Diana Kay (Michael) Brown, Collean (Chris) Masingo and Rochelle Abner; brothers Charles (Christine) Abner, Kenneth Abner; Sisters Elizabeth Hanes and Geneva ( Joe) Messer; grandchildren Jonathan Brown, Tiffany Brown, Stephanie Brock, Cassidy Masingo, Caylee Masingo, Chloe Masingo, Danielle Warren and Destiny Warren; great-grandchildren Kaylynn Marie Brown and Khloa Kay Brock; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1PM Friday April 13, 2018 with Rev. Arthur Jackson and Chad Abner, burial will follow in the Jordan cemetery, Knox Co. KY with his nephews as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Brown, Michael Brown and Chris Masingo. The family will receive friends after 6PM until 9PM on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Brooks-Durham Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Abner family.
