Edith Allen

In loving memory of Edith Mae Allen age 95 passed away Monday March 23, 2015 at Pineville Community Hospital she born December 23, 1919 to the late Howard T. Nelson and Nanny Cleo Nelson; she was a faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene and attended 70 years. She had been in retail; worked at Cadillac motors making motors during WWII she also was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Allen and Brother Raymond Nelson.

Survivors include her children, sons Charles Eddie Allen and wife June, Howard Lee Allen and wife Phyllis and George Larry Allen; daughters Sandra Allen Long and husband Ray and Rosemary Allen. 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Martha Combs Woolum, Pineville Community Hospital Staff, The First Nazarene Church Family, Special caregivers and friends Betty Goodin and Diane Cox and Pineville Home Health. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
