Otis “Oatmeal” Bain 80 of Fourmile, KY passed away Sunday December 18, 2011. He was born on August 25, 1931. He was the son of the late James and Martha “Maw” Patterson Bain.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Emme Mills Warren Bain; son Marshall Bain; step-son Edward Gillis Warren; two brothers Earl Bain, Virgil Bain; two sisters Ada Bain Smith and Ester Bain.
Survivors include his sons Dennis Bain of Corbin, Preston Bain of Covington, Otis Wayne Bain of Independence, Ricky Bain of Corbin and Timmy Bain of Virginia Beach; daughters Deborah Bain Price of Corbin, Barbara Bain Landers of Florence and Tammy Bain of Virginia Beach; Step Children Phyils Warren Widener, Penny Warren Payne and Pamela Warren Hensley; And a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 22, 2011, at The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Creech and Rev. Fugate. Pallbearers will be Friends and Family. Burial follow in Bain Cemetery at Fourmile.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 Wednesday December 21, 2011 at The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home . The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the Bain family
