Donna Beggs

Donna Marie Wilson Beggs, age 54 departed this life, October 6, 2021, at Baptist Health in Corbin, KY. She was born October 26, 1966, in Pineville, KY to the late Colman and Carrie Saylor Wilson. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Martha Beggs; nephew John McNab; brothers Boyd Wilson, Denver Wilson, and Gwen Wilson; sisters Faye Mullins and Frances Lawson.

Survivors include her husband, John Beggs; daughter Tara Marie Taylor and husband Joe; son Stewart Beggs; her beloved grandsons, Kaden Taylor and Blake Taylor; sisters Kim Wilson, Sherry (Toby) Givens, Sheila (Tilman) Brock, Kathy (Monroe) Osborne and Brenda Wilson; brothers Don (Pat) Wilson, Morris (Makita) Wilson and Hassel Wilson; brother-in-law, Earl Beggs and sister-in-law, Teresa Beggs; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. A very special thank you to her sister Sherry (Toby) Givens and to all of her family who helped to take care of her.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 11, 2021, at 2PM at Crockett Pentecostal Church at Fields, KY; with Rev. Donald Wilson and special words by Henry Lawson; burial will follow in Wilson cemetery at Big Run with Jonathan Brock, Justin Caldwell, Rodney Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Owen Taylor, and Ethan Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Beggs, Monroe Osborne and Everett “Gib” Taylor.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Crockett Pentecostal Church until the funeral hour at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Beggs family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
