Dorothy Brock

Dorothy Brock, age 66 of Wallsend passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Mountain View Nursing Home. She was born on May 30, 1956 in Pineville, KY to the late, Jim and Mary Paris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Brock; brother Raymond Logan and sisters Sarah Etta Bishop and Ester McGaffee.

Survivors include her niece whom was like a daughter, Jeannie Inman; nieces Margaret (Jeffery) Inman, Mary Ann Meredith, Patty (Burt) Burchfield and Brianna (Callie) Inman; nephews’ Mark Bishop, John (Michelle) Bishop and Paul Logan; great-nephews' William (Jessica) Inman, Joshua (Carletta) Bishop, Blake Inman and Scott (Christina) Inman; very special friend Jacob Bright.

Prior to funeral services there will be an Order of the Eastern star service, funeral services will follow at 2PM on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Barker; burial will follow in Pine Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, Pineville.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brock family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
