Calvin Raymond Blevins, age 78, of Pineville, Kentucky, passed away on December 24, 2025, in Pineville. He was born on September 5, 1947, in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late Rena Saylor and Ted Blevins Sr.

Calvin worked as a skilled tradesman and later served his community as a constable. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication to his family and community.

He is survived by his siblings Ted Blevins Jr.; Margie Brock and husband Jim Brock; Arthur Blevins and wife Wilma; Rosetta Caldwell and husband Wiley; James Blevins Sr. and wife Janet; and Nettie Sue Blevins.

He is also survived by his daughter Rayann Erwin and husband Kenneth Erwin; granddaughters Miranda Lingar and husband Braxton Lingar, and Kristina Allen and husband Jacob Allen; and great-grandchildren Noah Lingar, Beau Lingar, Amaya Allen, and Oliver Allen.

He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family, and though he is gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.

Graveside services will be Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Blevins cemetery in Kettle Island, Kentucky at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham funeral home is honored to be serving the Blevins family.
