Larry Carroll

Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother Larry Wayne Carroll 64, of Pineville, passed away on Friday, June 3 ,2011 at the Central Baptist Hospital. He was born in Pineville, KY on April 27, 1947 the son of the late Tip and Serilla Philpot Carroll. He had retired from the Ford Motor Company and had went to West Pineville Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie and Mollie Carroll and Charlie and Mollie Philpot.

Survivors include his wife Alice Carroll; daughter Elaine (Tim) Elliott; son Larry Lee (Nancy) Carroll; brother Joe ( Melissa) Carroll; sisters Patricia (Harvey) Frazier and Thresea Smith; grandchildren Lucas Elliott, Patrick Carroll and Garrett Carroll; And host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday June 7, 2011 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Allen. Burial will be in the Tinsley Cemetery at Tinsley with Lucas Elliott, Patrick Carroll, Garrett Carroll, Harvey Frazier Jr., Chris Frazier, Raymond Jackson, Wayne Collins and Jeff Murphy serving as pallbearers; Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Smith. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM Monday June 6, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, is honored to be serving the Carroll Family.
