Rev. John “J.D” Collins age 76 of Kettle Island, KY passed away August 2, 2015 in Corbin, KY. He was born March 29, 1939 in Fields, KY to the late John D. Collins and Pairzade Tolliver Sizemore.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Nadine Payne, Lorene Barber, Lula Saylor and Martha Ann Barnett.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Nelson Collins; step-sons Simon Daniels and wife Stephanie and Sam Daniels and wife Michelle Daniels; step-daughter Sindy and husband Larry Hubbard; sister Hazel Saylor; grandchildren Mark Daniels, Wesley Daniels, Brittany Mize Goins, Paige Daniels, Jase Daniels, Corey Witherspoon Larry Hubbard and Bethany Hubbard; great-grandson Liam Carter Goins and host of special nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
