Clifford Dozier

Clifford Dozier, age 70 of Pineville, KY, went home to be with the Lord, August 11, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Clifford was born April 30, 1950 in Arjay, KY, to the late Lester and Perna Lyons Dozier. Clifford was a loving father, husband and grandfather, he always enjoyed the opportunity to help someone in need.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Hubert Dozier and Donald Dozier, sisters Christine Martin, Marie Mills and Zora Dozier.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce Miller Dozier; daughters Chanda Sams and husband Dustin, and Katrina Smith and husband Lawrence; grandchildren Makenzie Fuson, Paceleigh Sams, Caroline Sams, Malley Smith and Madelyn Smith; brothers Joe Dozier, Jewel Dozier, Kenneth Dozier and Lester Dozier Jr.; sisters Faye Lawson, Ruth Smith and Wanda Kinsler. A host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 8PM Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Elkins; interment will take place, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro at 11AM with Dustin Sams, Chris Gray, Curt Smith Jr., Lawrence Smith, Eric Williams and Steve Brown as pallbearers and Johnny Bishop, Dr. Steven Morgan, Lee Lyons and Randy Roberts as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 5PM on Thursday, August 13, 2020 until the funeral hour at 8PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dozier family and ask you keep them in your prayers.
