Joyce Frazier

Joyce “Jibby” Jordan Frazier, age 74 departed this life Sunday, September 4, 2022 at UK Hospital, Lexington, KY. Joyce was born February 13, 1948 in Pineville, KY to the late Victor and Ethel Jordan; she had been a homemaker and loved her grandchildren, rocking in her rocking chair and watching westerns.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dean Frazier; sisters, Ann Marie Caldwell and Debra Jones; brother Ronald Jordan.

Survivors include her daughter, Eppie and husband James Hopkins; son Jason Sowders; grandchildren, Ashley Cantrell, Kaylee Hopkins, Noah Hopkins, Hunter Hopkins and Gabriel Sowders; sisters, Ruth Nix, Phyllis Jean Tyler (Jr.) Vicky Martin (Mike) Linda Sue Todd and Lois Jordan; brothers, Monty Jordan, Paul Jordan and Carl Jordan.

Funeral services will be 11AM, Thursday September 8, 2022 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Jordan; music will be provided by Eric Jordan and Michael Jordan; burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY with her brothers, Monty Jordan, Paul Jordan and Carl Jordan; Mike and Clayton Martin, Jerry Taylor, Byron Asher serving as pallbearers; honorary pallbearers are James Hopkins, Eddie Jones, Johnny Gambrel and Jason Sowders

The family will receive friends after 6PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until 8PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Frazier family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
