Fred Daniels

Fred Foster Daniels Jr., born June 27, 1955, passed away April 11, 2025, in Lexington, KY. Fred was the son Fred Daniels Sr., and Aline Roberston Daniels.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Freddie Daniels; brothers, Robert Roscoe Daniels and Billy Daniels; sisters Sue Ann Gibson and Patty Baker.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Ann Daniels; son, Robert (Jamie) Daniels; daughters, Crystal Kirkland, Ariel Saylor and Hope Woodward; grandchildren, Jared Saylor, Cameron Saylor, Amber Daniels, Devin Daniels, Haille Daniels, Johnny Daniels, Gunner Shane Daniels, Easton Kash Daniels, Hailey Sawyers; great-grandchildren, Rylan Saylor, Joycelynn Middleton, Arthur Partin and Eli Daniels; brothers, Randall (Christine) Daniels and Otis (Millie) Daniels; sisters May Lou Shumake, Deborah Kay Smith and Terry (Michael) Hall; special nieces, Kimberly Gambrel and Loretta Daniels; special nephews, Danny Smith, Ethan and Gavin Gambrel; brother-in-law Franklin Gibson; special friends, Irene and Roscoe Cox, Charles Simpson, Bobby Edmondson and James Brock; a host of loving nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends.

Per Fred’s request he was cremated by Brooks-Durham Funeral Home and memorial services will follow later. The family would like to thank Mountain View nursing and Rehabilitation. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Daniels family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
