Anna Gambrel

Anna Mae Gambrel 80, of Pineville, KY passed away Wednesday June 6, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Corbin KY. She was born on January 2, 1939 in Knox Co, KY. She is the daughter of the late Harl and Ida Patterson Gambrel. She believed in the Baptist faith and had been a homemaker.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lucy Gambrel and Allene Gambrel Taylor. Brother Earl Gambrel.

Survivors include her loving son Ricky Gambrel, of Pineville KY. Sister Bonnie (James) Woolum, Arjay, KY; brothers Eugene Gambrel, Wolcot IN, Arelee (Melva) Gambrel, Columbia City IN and Lester Gambrel, Middlesboro, KY; uncle Lloyd Gambrel Fort Wayne, IN and aunts Jennie Dye and Bobbie Cox of Flat Lick, KY Hester Gambrel of Arjay, KY; brother-in-law Elmer Taylor. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2PM Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Robbins; burial will follow in Greenhills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY with her nephews and family as pallbearers. Music will be provided by Paul Caleb and Joshua Gipson.

The family will receive friends after Noon on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM.
