Ruby Gambrell

Ruby Gambrell, 93, of Glen White, WV, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Born March 13, 1928 in Bell County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Gambrell Warren. Ruby was formerly employed at the Beckley Ramada Inn. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gambrell; son, Dewayne Gambrell; brothers, Thomas Warren, Jr and Ronnie Warren; sisters, Irene Gambrell and Nadine West.

Ruby is survived by daughters, Charlotte Cox (Larry) of Lester, WV, Carolyn Lilly (Michael) of Mabscott, WV; son, Britten Gambrell (Rebecca) of Del Rio, TX; 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Collier, Elsie Reynolds and Doris Albright; brother, Charles Warren as well

as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2PM on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Bro. Arthur Jackson; burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gambrell family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
