Franklin Gray

Franklin Delano Gray, 73 of Pineville KY, passed away at the Pineville Community Hospital on February 17, 2011. He was born in Fourmile, KY on April 19, 1937 to the late Lester and Elsie Gray. He had worked as a Coal Miner and Electrician.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Vernon Gray, Elmer Lee Gray and Cleveland Gray; sister Mollie Mae Edmondson; daughter “Cookie” Paula Kay and son Randall Gray.
He is survived by his children Tony Franklin Gray, Tommy Gray, Karen Vaughn, Jenny Payne and Amy Jo; brothers and sisters Beulah Jeffers, Opal Brooks, Edna Payne, Thelma Elder, Bonnie Grindell, Wanda Branham, Lonnie Gray and Darryell Gray and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. A very dear and special friend “fishing companion” Joyce Cato.
Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M on Sunday February 20, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Dempsy Gray; music will be provided by the Adkins family; Pallbearers will be family and friends; Burial will follow in Charles Cemetery at Fourmile, Ky.
The Family will receive friends from 6p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday February 19, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the Gray family.
