Billy Joe Harbin 78 of Pineville, KY passed away Saturday November 19, 2011. He was born on September 12, 1933. He worked several years for Maxies Pottery and was a employ of Bell Whitley Community Agency.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Mattie Harbin; brothers Millard Harbin, Vernon Harbin; sisters Twylah Kelley and Edna Mae Harbin.
Survivors include two brothers and one sister; Charles and Annie Harbin of Lynchburg, VA, Roy Edward and Joetta Harbin of Corbin, KY and Wanda and A.G. Engle of Edgewood, TX. Several Nieces and Nephews , a special nephews, Harold Harbin and Carl Harbin. A host of family and friends. Special friends Betty Smith, terry Miracle and Steve Edwards.
Instead of flowers, contributes may be made to Brooks-Durham Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 22, 2011, at Varilla Baptist Church with Rev. Bob White, Bruce cupp and Charles Harbin; music will be provided by Church singers. Pallbearers; Friends and Family. Burial follow in Varilla Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 Monday November 21, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the Harbin family.
