Elva Lee Hatfield age 84 of Pineville, KY passed away June 2, 2016. He was born in Fourmile, KY on November 11, 1931 to the late Joe and Eliza Gambrell Hatfield. He served in the Navy for over 26 years and was a member of West Pineville Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Kim Blight; son Steve Hatfield; brothers Joe Hatfield Jr., Earl Hatfield, Bobby Hatfield; sisters Paula.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Messer Hatfield; son Mark Hatfield, mother of his children Doris Hatfield; grandsons Kevin Hatfield, Joseph Hatfield; granddaughters Jessie Strong, Karla Bergonzi and Sheri Blight; step-daughter Judith Hume and step-granddaughter Kimi Partin; sisters Jennie and Jewel; brothers and sisters-in-law Raymond and Judy Messer, James Messer, Theo Messer, David Messer, Elizabeth Messer, Brenda Cobb, Lisa Sloan and Ronnie Sloan.
