Edith Jones

Edith Grubb Jones of Cary, KY, passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at the U.T Medical center. She was born in Clay County, KY on August 19, 1931 a daughter of the late W.O and Mary Sizemore Grubb. She was a believer in the word of God. She had been a great cook, loved her children, and a wonderful homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Annie Jones Ivy; son David Jones; two grandsons Justin Jones Brummett and Randall Orr; sisters Christine Grubb and Vestine Grubb and brothers Zeb Grubb, Herman Grubb, Russell Grubb and Curmit Grubb.

Survivors includes her husband of 71 years Leonard Jones; children Leonard Jones, Jr., Brenda Jones, Yvonne Jones, Carl (Rosemary) Jones, Charlotte ( Ray) Brummett, Jennifer Jones, Gary (Elsie) Jones; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Other survivors include Audrey Grubb, Lexina Grubb, Benn Grubb, Buster Grubb and Jeweldine Grubb.
