Heather Jones

Beloved daughter Heather Brooke Jones 28, of Fourmile, passed away on Friday December 3, 2010 at her home. She was born in Pineville on March 30,1982 to Roy Glen Jones and Judy York Messer and Raymond Messer. She was the leader of a support group for Home Dialysis patients. She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church. She fought a lifelong battle of cancer and kidney failure.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Roy and Maggie Jones, George and Pearl York and very special friend Scott Brown.

She is survived by her Aunt and Uncles Charles and Joyce Bennett; Kenneth and Maxine Neal; Jack and Wilma Taylor; Jack and Patsy Harris; Kathy and Ken Smith; Millie and Larry Roark; Darrell and Kathy York; Brenda and (Joe) Donnie Rutherford; Wanda and Larry Thomas; Eddie and Brenda York; Larry and Linda York;. A very special person in her life Joe Levi. Many Special cousins, other relatives and Friends; Her dog Lee Harvey.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday December 6, 2010, at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Brooks; Singers Janet Carroll and Dessie Centers; pallbearers Charles Bennett, Kenneth “Pap” Neal, Ronnie Fuson, Cody Willowford, Randy Fuson, Chris Fuson. Honorary pallbearers Bub Terrece, Jordan Willowford, Hayden Craig, Andrew Willowford, Gary Brown. Dr. Mohan, Dr. Lohe, Friends and staff at U.K. and Pineville Hospital; burial will follow in the Roy and Maggie Jones Cemetery, Ingram.

The family will receive friends from 6 -9 p.m.. Sunday December 5, 2010 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the Jones family.
