Joseph McGeorge

Joseph “Jody” McGeorge a beloved father, brother, and son, passed away  on February 5, 2026, at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on August 31, 1970, in Pineville, Kentucky, to Jerry McGeorge and the late Wanda McGeorge.

Jody was deeply devoted to his family. He is survived by his father, Jerry McGeorge; his daughter, Jayden McGeorge; his son, Jordan McGeorge; and his brother, James (Billie) McGeorge. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Philpot McGeorge, whose love and guidance shaped him into the man he became.

A graveside service to honor Jody's life will be held on February 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Perkins at Sharp Cemetery, located at 925 Amesbury Ave, Middlesboro, KY 40965, providing friends and family the opportunity to celebrate Jody's life. 

Jody  will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
