Leman Brock Jr., age 90 passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Friday, July 25, 2025, to the home he longed for, Heaven. He was born on May 17, 1935, in Calloway, KY to the late Leman Fee Brock and America Bradford Brock. Leman was Jesus loving, bible preaching and was always smiling; when God made Leman, he broke the mold, he knew exactly what those around him, needed. He was humble, yet stubborn, he was gentle, yet firm, but the one thing he never compromised on was LOVE. That was his message and his legacy. Leman was an Industrial Mechanic, traveling Evangelist and a Army veteran and had served honorably in the Korean war.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Brock; brothers and sisters, Melvin Brock, Marlene King, Jesse Brock, Bobbie Miller, Jackie Reeves, David Brock and Francis Collett.
Leman is survived by his loving children, Todd Brock and wife Angie, and daughter Rhonda Mitts and husband Michael; grandchildren, David Lee (Beth) Brock, Amanda (Brent) Blevins, Jessica Combs, Christian Dylan Brock, Kaelynne Mitts, Ashleigh (Eric) Cheffer, Andrew Mitts and Matthew Mitts; Nine great-grandchildren; sister, Esther (Norb) Overbeck and brother, Jimmy Brock. A host of nieces, nephews' other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 2P.M on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Musselman and Bro. Dean Brock presiding; burial will follow in Pineville Memorial Cemetery, Pineville, KY with full military honors.
The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2P.M. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brock family.
