Traver Marsee passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 12, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Tara Rain Marsee, his father Mr. Earl Marsee, and his Grandma and Grandpa, Linzy and Laurel Owens
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Johnson Marsee; his kids (as he lovingly called us) Chelsea & John; mother, Thelma Marsee, brother James (Ashley) Marsee, three nieces, Clarissa and Jessica Warwick and Kasey Gmery; a host of family and friends left behind to celebrate his life and mourn his loss.
Traver was born October 22nd 1973 in Bell County. He went to Bell County High School and went on to be a meat cutter at Food City and most recently Pic Pac.
He was a devoted husband and a heck of a step dad to his kids and a wonderful grandpa to his furry grandchildren. He loved being outdoors. He was his best self when he was in nature. He loved the movie Christmas Vacation from which he got his nickname “Clark”. He was constantly building something, from birdhouses to sheds to kitchen islands. And he could make a mean meal on his grill. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do. Whenever Traver was around he made you want to be the best version of yourself. He took care of the people he loved. All he wanted was a family and we are so thankful that he picked us to be that family.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed enough to know him. As I sit here writing this I can’t help but picture him walking through those pearly gates and while being shown around I hear Jesus jokingly say to him “It’s a beaut isn’t it Clark”.

The family will recieve friends after 3PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 5PM.
