J.D. Mason, 71 of Centers Branch, passed away at his home on March 9,2011. He was born in Bell County, KY on March 8, 1940 to the late Ned Mason and Rosabelle Maiden Mason. He had worked in construction and was a believer in the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Hillery Mason, half brother R.V. Mason.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Jeanie Mason, children Steve Mason and Melissa Bays(Daryl Bays); Brothers and Sisters Burchfield Mason, Harim Mason, Annie Sexton, Angie Dahling; Step Mother Alta Mason half Brothers and Sisters Martha Hyre, Ned Mason Jr., Lowell Mason, Sharon Mason, Bernice McCoy, Betty Coffey, Gene Mason, Hobert Mason, Charlie Mason and Edward Mason; Grandchildren Stevie Mason, Ashley Lefevers, Daryl Bays Jr., Joshua Bays; Great-Grandchildren Jaden and Landon Lefevers. Special nieces Novella Mason and Rhonda Philpott.
