Chester Mccreary

Chester McCreary, age 73, of Hulen, KY passed away August 25, 2018 following a long illness. He was the son of the late Willie and Addie McCreary. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Air Force. He worked over 40 years in the mining industry. He was a member of Tugglesville Baptist Church over 40 years. He loved the mountains, coon hunting, and grouse hunting,

Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 52 years, Rachel; children Adam (Dorisal), Rebecca (Chris) Parks, and Phillip (Sarah); his beloved grandchildren Amy, Isabella, Christy, Martha, Levi, and Naomi; special cousin Charlie Howard; and special friend Orville Hobbs. Special thank you to the nurses at Saint Joseph Hospital, especially Belvis and Paul.

The family requests all services to be private, with Pastor David Howard officiating and burial at the McCreary family cemetery. Military funeral honors to be provided by the Harlan County Honor Guard.
