Michael Danny Johnson

Michael Danny Johnson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on November 2, 2025, in his hometown of Hulen, Kentucky, where he was born on November 21, 1948. Danny's life was characterized by dedication to his family, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the outdoors he loved working on guns, reloading shells, making knives and reading.

Danny was a skilled diesel mechanic, beyond his professional life, he served his country honorably in the United States Army, showcasing his commitment to service and integrity.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, I.D and Elsie Brock Johnson, and his sister Janice Howard.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Kaye Johnson, and his loving daughters, Michelle (John) Ealy and Robin (Henry) Jeffrey; grandchildren Tyler (Sarah) Ealy, Jared Ealy, Candace Lua, Trevor Jeffrey, Austin Pierce, Brody Jeffrey, Aeriane Stough, Brianna Jeffrey, Daulton Jeffrey, Kiyana Lua, Leam Guinn and Arabella Jeffrey; sisters Tammy (Greg) Davenport and Sheila (Carl) Caldwell, who will remember him fondly along with a host of special family members.

Funeral services will be 4PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home; burial will follow in Tackett Hill Cemetery, Hulen, KY on Friday morning. 

The family will receive friends after 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 4PM.
