Glenn Miller

Glenn Luther Miller, a life long resident of Arjay, KY passed away February 8, 2022. He was a dearly loved son, brother and friend; a true inspiration to so many. Circumstances made his life uneventful, yet so relevant and remarkable to those who love him. God brought him through so many difficult times in his life and blessed him with a happiness and strength seldom seen. The path of life for him, took away so many opportunities, yet he faced each day with a smile as written though and by the wisdom of Solomon in Ecclesiastes chapter 3 “to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens.” We can only hope that Glenn knew how much we all loved him in his time here.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Gene Miller and his mother Flo Laquida Miller.

He is survived by brothers, Eugene (Tammy) Miller of Tazewell, TN, Charlie (Tammy) Miller of Arjay, KY, John Miller of Arjay, KY and George (Maryann) Miller of Straight Creek, KY; sisters Louise (Wayne) Smith of Harrogate, TN, Martha (Rodney) Holland of Arjay, KY, Cealia Miller of Arjay, KY and Ruby (Tim) Parton of Arjay, KY; nieces and nephews’ Jake Miller, Melissa Taylor, Crystal Miller, Charles Miller, Elizabeth Johnson, Kendra Holland, Caleb Miller, Jacob Miller, Cayden Miller, Justin Miller, Kaylee Miller, Emma Miller, Charlee Miller, Jace Miller, John Miller Jr., James Miller, Elizabeth Miracle, Daniel Miller, Jenny Newson, Charlene Walker, Michael Holland, Genia Goodin and Amanda Pursiful; a host of great nieces and nephews’ and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1PM at Arjay Community Pentecostal Church, Arjay, KY with Rev. George Daniel Miller and Rev. Gary Wagner; burial will follow in Scott cemetery, Harrogate, TN with Daniel Miller, Michael Holland, James Miller, John Miller Jr., Justin Goodin, Chase Pursiful, Charlie Miller and Jake Miller serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 10AM on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Arjay Community Pentecostal Church, Arjay, KY until the funeral hour at 1PM at Arjay Community Pentecostal Church. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Miller family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
