Mittie Moffitt

Mittie Moffitt, age 65, of Middlesboro, Ky passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at her home in Middlesboro. She was born April 6, 1954 in Chavies, KY, to the late Jasper and Julia Gwin White. She had been a special education teacher.

Survivors include her children, Brent Moffitt, Julie Thompson, Ashley Moffitt and (David Asher) and Alexandria Moffitt; grandchildren Destiny Thompson, Cameron Moffitt, Brent Thompson, Aaron Thompson, A.J Asher, Carter Asher and Mystery Angel Rose Asher; the father of her children Mike Moffitt, whom was the love of her life.

Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Bro. Arthur Jackson; burial will follow in Hickory Flats cemetery, Dorton Branch, with David Asher, Derrick Rosenbalm, Ben Smith, Bill Asher and Cameron Moffitt serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 12 on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 until the funeral hour at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville.
