Shirley Ramey

Mrs. Shirley Jane Ramey, 74 of Pineville, Ky went to her heavenly home June 23, 2022 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital. She was born on February 1, 1948 to the late Virgil Mason.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Ramey, a daughter, Tammy Ramey, and a brother, James Ed Mason.

Survivors include her mother Jaunita Gray; stepmother, Betty Mason; sons, George (April) Ramey and Gary Dale (the late Tammy) Ramey; sisters, Jeanette (Sterling) Daniels, Dolly (Rick) Hogan, Joanna Eubanks; (like a sister) Imogene Hendrickson, Thelma Jean (Eric) Robertson, Glenda (David) Amdsen, Rickey (Jennia) Mason, Dana (Robert) Fisher, Wayne (Kim) Mason, and Virgil Jr. Mason; grandchildren, Samantha Ramey, Josh Ramey, and Kaci Barnett; great-grandchildren, Ethan Jacob Ramey, Jaxon Chase, and Kaleb Gabriel Ramey.

She was dearly loved by a host of other relatives and family members. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Ferndale Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and will be sadly missed, but will be in our hearts until we meet on Heaven’s Shore.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ramey will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 2 P.M. in the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarence Mason and Rev. Jared Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sterling Daniels, David S. Hendrickson, Wayne Mason, Tim Partin, Josh Ramey, Ethan Ramey, and George Ramey. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Dale Ramey and Mike Jackson.

The family will receive friends after 12 Noon on Sunday until the funeral hour at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home.
