Marie Rice

Marie Rice, age 72 of Newport, KY passed away peacefully on August 8, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Florence. She was born May 21, 1945 in Pineville, KY and was a daughter of the late Charles and Sallie North. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Rice, Jr., brothers, RE and RL North and sister, Nell Gregory.

Marie was a homemaker, devoted wife and beloved mother and grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her son, David Rice and his wife Nicole, her grandchildren; Katie Lloyd and Jackson and Matthew Rice, her primary care provider, her niece Donna Noel and her husband Jason, her sisters-in-law; Willa Jean Lefevers, Jenetta Hawkins and Christine Muncy, as well as a host nieces and nephews and other family members.
