Fred Roark

Fred G. Roark age 84 of Laurel Hill passed away March 26, 2015 at Baptist Health, Lexington. He was born April 18, 1930 in Pineville, KY to the late Fredrick and Maggie Broughton Roark. Fred was owner of Fred G. Roark CPA where he was a Certified Public Accountant to clients all over the United States. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints he loved his church and was very involved and a strong supporter of the missionary program of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints..

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter Joetta Thompson and brother Herby Joe Roark.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Roark, Children Charles and wife Jennifer Roark, Sue E. and husband Robert Cobb, Fred Roark Jr., Karen Roark, Deanna and husband Chad Johnson and Dustin and wife Lyndsi Roark; stepchildren Robin Holbrooke, Jim and wife Nea Holbrooke and Leslie and husband Stan Forsythe; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister Helen Roark and sister-in-law Brenda McKeehan and a host of special friends he considered family.
