Betty Smith

Betty Mae Smith 74 of Calvin, KY passed away Friday October 21, 2011 at Pineville Community Hospital The daughter of the late Willard and Ethel Daugherty. She was born on March 15, 1937.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Ethel Daugherty; son Willard L. Smith; Grandmother Dallas Daugherty Bunch; niece Margie Cox; Nephew Steven Daugherty; brother- in-law James Tidwell; Sister -in- law Mary Daugherty.

Survivors include her husband James Russell Smith of Calvin KY; daughter Sandra and Walter Disspayne of Lafollette TN; sons Jimmy and Ethel Collins of Ferndale KY, Wayne and Rita Collins of Tinsley KY; brothers Boyd Daugherty of Hazel Park MI., Jimmy and Josie Daugherty of Caryville TN., Steve and Patsy Daugherty of Caryville TN.; sisters Margie Leach of Caryville TN., Carlene and Jerry Hill of Auburn Hills MI., Donna Tidwell of Lafollette TN. Grandchildren Shay Partin, Teddy and Brooke Collins, Shaun and Stacy Collins, Christy Collins, Kristen Collins, LaShanna and Chris Briggs; Great Grandchildren Tommy Mack Partin, Cameron Collins, Blake Collins, Landon Collins. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 25, 2011, at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Murphy ; Pallbearers; Friends and Family. Burial follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery Middlesboro, KY.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 Monday October 24, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the Smith family.
