Geraldine Smith age 64 of Fourmile departed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the UK medical center in Lexington. She was born on April 22, 1951 to the late Jerry and Lottie Smith. She was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal Faith and was a member of Old Fourmile Pentecostal Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a special grandson Tyler Hensley, three sisters American Smith, Mary Gene Smith and Lyda Mae Alexander and three brothers Jerry Smith Jr, David Smith and William Smith.

Survivors include two sons Clifton Ray Hensley and David Hensley, one daughter Michelle (James) Collins, two brothers Lawrence and Willie Smith, six grandchildren Jamie (Rob Daniels) Collins, Brittany (Stephen) Griffin, Katherine (Braxton Adkins) Collins, Trevor Keifer, Destiny Ann Hensley and Destiny Faith Hensley, four great grandchildren Hailie Nichole Hensley, Aubree Baylyn Smith, Aiden Scott Hensley and Keenon Jace Adkins, Her best friend Marie Ashcroft and special friends Ashley Creech, Chelsey Smith, Stephanie Owens and Mark Woods and a host of other family and friends left to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Geraldine Smith will be conducted in the chapel of the Brooks Durham Funeral Home on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Arthur Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the pinelawn memorial gardens with Terry Collins, Mark Woods, Braxton Adkins, Robert Daniels, Stephen Griffin, BIlly Smith and Cody Livesay. The family will receive friends on Sunday April 17, 2016 from 6 until 9 pm and Monday from 10 am until the hour of service at 2 pm at the Brooks Durham Funeral Home.
