Robert Cann Stamper, 49 passed away on Saturday September 10, 2011 at his home. He was born January 12, 1962, The son of Betty Stamper York and the late Tensley Stamper.
He was preceded in death by his father Tensley Stamper, brothers Allen Stamper and Erwin Stamper; sisters Teresa Pike and Sherry Pennington
He leaves behind his wife Krista Hall Stamper; mother Betty York and step-father Boyd York; grandmother Bessie Cantrell; children Robert Ernest Stamper and Betty Jo Stamper of Arjay, KY, Cearra, Ashley, Samantha, Amanda and Stephanie; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters Deborah Metcalf, Bobby Stamper, Clifford Stamper, Alfreda Potter, Melissa Trotter and Clifford York.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday September 14, 2011, at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. James Polly; music will be provided by Theda Polly and Rose Mary Jones; Pallbearers; Mitchell Stamper, Dean Stamper and friends; honorary pallbearer Pumpkin Mullins.
Burial will follow in Barbourville Cemetery at Barbourville, KY.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 11pm Tuesday September 13, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the Stamper family.
