Jewell Sturgill

Jewell Mae Sturgill, age 91 of Pineville, KY passed way September 19, 2022 at Grant Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Williamstown, KY. She was born January 5, 1931 to the late Colonial Hensley and Rosa Wyrick Hensley; she had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Mose Sturgill; brothers, Joe, Alfred, Denver, James, Ulyssess and Johnny; sister, Mable

Survivors include her son, Jim Sturgill of Pineville, KY; grandchildren, Jeanne Wilder, Jackie Sturgill and Jamie Sturgill; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Allison and Shaylee; sister, Cora Fuson of Middlesboro, KY. A host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 2PM on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Bro. Arthur Jackson; burial will follow in Mills Cemetery, Pineville, KY.

The family will receive friends after 6PM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 until 9PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sturgill family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
