Wanda Lee McGeorge, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, at Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on March 6, 1946, in Pineville, Kentucky. 

Wanda was a beloved wife to her husband, Jerry McGeorge, and a devoted mother to her sons, James Wayne McGeorge and Joseph Andrew “Jody” McGeorge. She took great joy in being a grandmother and loved her grandchildren, Jayden and Jordan McGeorge and Jasmine and Natalie McGeorge, who were the lights of her life. Brothers, William (Myrtle) Philpot and Sonny (Mary) Philpot, and her sisters, Rose Washam, Marsha (Johnny) Miracle, and Jackie Lorance. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Betty Philpot.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ruby Philpot, as well as her brothers, Denver Ray and Andy Philpot Jr., and her brothers-in-law, Walter Washam and Michael Lorance.

Visitation will be at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home in Pineville on January 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2PM on January 27, 2026 at Brooks-Durham funeral home with Rev. Robert Perkins; burial will follow in Sharpe cemetery, Middlesboro, KY. The Brooks-Durham funeral home is honored to serve the McGeorge family and ask that you keep them in prayer.
