Wanda Sizemore

Wanda Sizemore, age 80 of Kettle Island, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Wanda was born on February 6, 1944, in Kettle Island, KY to the late Gilbert and Nettie Helton; she had worked in dietary at Pineville Community Hospital for 35 years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Gene Sizemore and Jesse Todd, sister, Rosie Jones and brother Jimmy Helton.

Survivors include her daughters, Teresa (Alvin Jr.) Felton, Karen (Jimbo) Terry and son Jeff (Becky) Sizemore; grandchildren, A.J (Kayla) Felton, Audrey (Joey) Maguire, Makeisha Sizemore, Cameron (Lauren) Sizemore, Alex Sizemore and Morgan Sizemore; great-grandchildren, Riley, special great-grandson Kaden, Grayson, Julian, Aubrey, Asher, Octavius, Colten and Conway; sisters, Mona Bennett, Mable Eastham, Joyce Howard, Linda Fuson, Shirley Slusher; brother, Larry Helton (Linda) special sister-in-law Carolyn Helton; special friends, Linda Warren, Brenda Brock, Billie Storms, and Patty Philpot; a host of nieces, nephews’, other relatives and many friends

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 3PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Don Messer and Rev. Jeff Baker; music will be provided by Faye Messer; burial will follow in Sizemore cemetery, Kettle Island, KY with A.J Felton III, Joey Maguire, Cameron Sizemore, Colby Slusher, Joshua Slusher, Michael Bennett, Jim Wayne Helton, Jodie Helton and Willie Helton serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Felton, Jr., Jimbo Helton, Ronnie Sizemore and Jack Sizemore. 

The family will receive friends after 1PM on Sunday November 17, 2024, at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 3PM.
