Jewell Warren

On Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Lexington Kentucky Jewell Warren Loving mother ,grandmother and great grandmother went to be with Jesus after a wonderful life of 75 years. She believed in the Baptist faith she was born in Pineville Kentucky. She had worked at General Motors for many years in Detroit Michigan Where she had resided for 15 years before returning back to Pineville Kentucky she worked at Helen‘s grocery located in arjay Kentucky for many years where she had made many friends that she treated like family. Everyone that she met loved her thought of her like a mother. After she finally reached retirement age she enjoyed staying home watching TV with her crime shows drinking her coffee along with a cigarette. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids and she will be deeply missed we were blessed to have her for 75 years.

Jewell proceeds in death by her husband Norman Warren parents Margie and Hershal Rice and brother Hershal Rice Junior the second sisters Joanne Rice, Pam Rice,Lisa Rice, Kathy Rice left to cherish her memory children loving daughter Wendy and husband Louis Brock; grandkids Chesney and Nathan loving son James Hershal Warren; grandkid Logunn Littles, loving daughter, Donna Lorenz and husband Jim; grandkids John Steven and Devin, son, Dwayne Warren; grandkids Ashley ,Nicole Bubby,Shane and Travis; brother, Dennis Rice, Kim White, Timothy Rice and Kenny Rice. Host of many other relatives in Friends and a total of 12 great grandkids.

Memorial services will be on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 after 4PM until 6PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home; services will follow immediately at 6PM with Rev. Gary Wagner; music will be provided by Julie Wagner, Vernie Edmondson and Michelle Keifer. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Brooks-Durham Funeral Home.
