Emanuel Whitehead

Emanuel Whitehead age 79, of Jenson, KY passed away Saturday March, 16, 2019 at Continue Care Hospital, Corbin, KY. Emanuel was a wonderful daddy, husband, papaw and brother; he loved to hunt and play guitar but mostly he loved his family. He was born May 14, 1939 to the late Taylor and Catherine Whitehead in Harlan Co., Kentucky.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Elmer Whitehead, Hurley Whitehead, Fred Whitehead and John Whitehead.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Ronella Brock Whitehead; daughters Charlene (Frank) Schuler, Carol Hubbard and Barbara (Ronald) Brock; grandchildren Tiffany Bippus and Bryan Brock; great-granddaughter Breanna Faith Marcum; sisters Mary Ann Whitehead and Oma Jean Caldwell; brothers Junior Whitehead and Rubin Whitehead; sister-in-law Ann Williams; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends after 6PM Monday March 18, 2019 at Mill Creek Baptist Church until 9PM.

Funeral services will be 2PM Tuesday March 19, 2019 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Rafe Collett, Rev. Jack Smith, Rev. John Whitehead and Rev. Ronald Howard; music will be provided by Mickey Wilder, Linda Pearl Engle and Irvin Gipson. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY.
