Doris Wilder

Doris Wilder, age 87 of Hulen, Ky departed this life, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her home in Hulen. She was born March 15, 1935 in Insull, KY to the late Earl and Roberta Johnson Houston, she had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Wilder and brother, Jerry Houston.

Survivors include her son, Claude Edward Wilder of Middletown, OH; grandchildren, Adam Wilder of Nashville, TN and Amy Chartrand of Marymount, OH; great-granddaughter, Kendall Marie Chartrand; brother, Ed Houston of Hulen, KY and sister, Sherry Houston of Hulen, KY; a host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 2PM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Blackmont Baptist Church with Rev. David Howard and Rev. Ed Houston music will be provided by, Edwina Eldridge; burial will follow in Tackett Hill Cemetery, Hulen with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Blackmont Baptist Church until the funeral hour at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wilder family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
