Mona Wilson

Mona L. Goodin Wilson, age 75 of Pineville, KY, departed this life, August 4, 2021 at Saint Joseph, London, KY. She was born August 26, 1945 in Pineville to the late John Poker and Evelyn Carr Goodin. Mona had worked at Pineville Community Hospital in housekeeping and cafeteria; she was a kind and sweet person, always giving and she loved her family and would always put others before herself.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Danny Wilson; daughter Rebecca Wilson and son Danny Wilson.

Survivors include her children, Jodie Rickett (Tim) Jonathan Wilson (Amanda) and Michelle Edwards (Brandon) grandchildren Tyler Templeton, Trenton Edwards, Carrie Nicole Wilson, Jonathan Steven Wilson Jr., Tanner Edwards, Christopher Rose, Nathan Brummett, Taylor Wilson and Abigail Rebecca Edwards; brother John Clarence Goodin; special friends, Mark “Pappy” Jones, Joy Freeman and Russell Messer and special cousin Kenneth Carr.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Goodin, Rev. Mike Liford and Pastor Hershel Belcher; music will be provided by Tommy Belcher. Interment will follow in the Wilson Cemetery, Tinsley with family and friends as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wilson family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
